Our Story

As a husband and wife team, we are passionate about eating excellent food in a relaxed environment with friends and loved ones. In our view this is about as good as it gets.

We have always loved the world of hospitality since running chalets together in the French Alps. So, it has been a long-held dream to bring some of that experience to our hometown of Sturminster Newton, where we have lived with our family for 16 years. It’s been a bumpy journey, but determination and hard work have finally us got here!

The concept of The Bank House Brasserie is simple: a small, informal restaurant which stocks a great selection of beers and wines and serves simple yet delicious food. Our inspiration comes from all over the world and is complemented by the fabulous
local produce of the South West.

We strive daily to offer the best available to those who, like us, appreciate a special experience – great food without the fuss in a unique environment. We hope you like what we offer and look forward to seeing you at Bank House soon.
